John is an early stage member in world major domain name communities. John founded Tofuman 25 years ago and it is still the largest soybean product manufacturer in New Zealand. John founded NZ Forests in 2010, which is the largest Ancient Kauri developer of the world. Afterwards, John founded NZmade, Nutrel, Icewood and then Kumeu Kilns and Soyworks through mergers and acquisition.
John is a strategic investor with prospective vision and distinguished expertise in natural resources.
Miranda is a partner at NZmade. Miranda holds a BA degree in Finance. With well established network in capital markets and extensive working experience Miranda adds value to our companies at all stages.
Miranda commenced her career in the management team at Siemens Electrical Drives in China. After she moved to Auckland, she had operational roles in the forestry industry, NZ Forests and Kauri World and has since been involved in different investment projects in New Zealand’s primary industries.
Miranda co-founded Nutrel with John in 2013, a premium seafood manufacturing company which was the first New Zealand seafood company to distribute through duty free stores and the travel retail industry nationwide. Miranda added DoodleDoodle to Nutrel and made human grade natural pet treats competitive in NZ and oversea’s markets.
Miranda worked as a director for Soyworks in 2017 especially focusing on vegetarian / vegan product innovative development. Miranda started as the marketing director for Icewood in 2018. Miranda founded Middle Mount boutique spirits in 2019. The most well-known product is the award winning ginseng whiskey.
Max Bronson is a consultant of NZmade Ventures. After graduated from Otago University, Max worked in Korea for one year and then China for 7 years. Max can speak fluent Mandarin and conversational Spanish. Max founded an expat community in China, Tianjin Focus, in 2009. Max has a profound understanding of Chinese business culture and environment. Since he moved back to his hometown Auckland in 2010, Max worked in the forestry and agriculture industries for export logistics.
Max founded Career Coach Max in 2015. Max was one of the pioneers in career coaching industry in New Zealand. Max is a Certified Professional Career Coach (CPCC), a Certified Professional Resume / CV Writer (CPRW), a Certified Professional Interview Professional (CEIP) and the world’s first Certified Empowerment and Motivation Professional (CEMP) by working with his mentor Jay Block. Max is also a member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches (PARWCC), which holds him to the highest standards of professionalism.
Max has a wide network in New Zealand recruitment industry. Max has many successful coaching clients and they went on to become employees of PwC, KPMG, Fletchers, Higgins, Waste Management, ASB, Westpac, Public Trust, and Ricoh.
